Walmart Horror Story
The Night Shift
One beautiful and dark, moonless night, Sarah began her new life as an employee of the Walmart Supercenter. She stirred the dim green light from the naked neon above her as she wheeled the metal cart down the deserted supermarket aisles restocking cans in the shelves. She had heard some gory stories about the night shift but didn’t pay much attention to the stories as they were sidelining rumors.
In the wee hours of the morning, the thumping sound began, then Sarah saw the silhouette flitting around the clothing sections. She was paralysed for a moment with fear and her heart was racing . She said, “Hello?” again but, there was still no answer as if there was no one within the house. She stayed on working as she tried not to get a sense of somebody or something may be following her.
Just at that moment, they heard a child laugh at the store’s interior. But when again Sarah got up and spun around there was no one there. She shivered, and considered that she was perhaps being daft.
The Phantom Aisle.
The next night Sarah was given the cart to push through aisle 13; that is the aisle that everyone plus the manager gave a wide berth to. They said that the chain was plagued by a negative energy, apparition of a employee who met a tragic death. When she was restocking cereal boxes, she saw faint foot steps behind her.
“Who is it?” she asked faintly. He approached her and suddenly she heard rapid footsteps on the staircase foot and she felt a chill going up her spine. So she would turn around, and catch a glimpse of a person in a threadbare Walmart vest whose face remained hidden in darkness.
Well, he was standing like a ghost and the next thing he was saying was “Please. ” “I can’t leave this place. ”
Although the instinct of self-preservation would have been to turn and flee, Sarah could not bring herself to leave her sister to face such a terrible fate alone. Noticing the state he was in she asked him: “What happened to you?”
Midnight Bargain
The ghost revealed its tragic tale: It had bargaining to be freed from poverty with the spirit which turned out to be evil. In return, it agreed to work for Walmart for the rest of the natural till it got a life ending pay back. But now, it was immobile, couldn’t progress further it could only stay put.
In this novel Sarah is the character who chooses the path of overcoming the curse. She used a dusty grimoire she stole from the employee break room and by midnight she was able to conduct the ritual. The store shook and the dark-souled woman disappeared as she thanked for attention payed to Solomon. Read more
